HUNDREDS of people enjoyed a fantastic line-up of musicians from the Uttoxeter area on Saturday night during this year's Bradfest event.

The annual festival, which is held at Bradley House, showcased acts including Anonymous, Radio Mary and the Vice Bishops Blues Band.

Headliners Screamin' Eagles, a classic rock covers band, brought the night home with a relentless two-hour set.

Former Saxon guitarist Fasker Johnson, who now plays with the Eagles, said: "To headline Bradfest was a privilege and we had a blast.

"It's a great festival and a pleasure to perform at a totally pro gig."

Organiser Andy Hartshorne said such comments were a 'huge compliment' for his event.

He said: "We will take that as huge compliment coming from a man that has toured the world with major artists.

"I hope we achieved what we set out to do and gave everybody a good day out with some cracking bands."
