Woman cut free from car following crash in Oakamoor

A WOMAN has been cut free from her car by firefighters and is being treated by an air ambulance team, following a crash in Oakamoor yesterday.

Fire crews from Cheadle and Longton along with an air ambulance are in attendance at the crash on Star Bank.

Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service tweeted: "The female casualty has been cut free from car by firefighters. She is being dealt with by West Midlands Ambulance Service."

Potteries Busses tweeted: "Service 32A - the 0930 from Hanley will divert via Ashbourne Road and not operate between Cheadle and Alton Towers due to the incident at Oakamoor."
