VISITORS to Sudbury Hall were treated to a wealth of crafts and art on Sunday.
Local craftsmanship was celebrated with a selection of demonstrations in the hall and a craft market in the stable yard.
There were opportunities to have a go at a variety of crafts and get some inspiration for a new hobby from a number of different 'master crafters'.
These included the Barton Beaders, Mickleover Art Group, Derbyshire Embroiderers' Guild, the Sudbury Weavers, spinners and dyers, rag rug makers, leather workers and blacksmith demonstrations.
Outside visitors had a chance to browse a number of stalls and purchase unique hand made products, taking in everything from woodwork and textiles to hand made Teddies.
House steward Rosanna Daubney said "We were thrilled to welcome so many local crafters to celebrate all things local and give our visitors a chance to experience and even have a go at some unusual crafts.
"The event went down brilliantly and we had a good turn-out."
Artist Kara Strachan, who draws inspiration from nearby landscapes and wildlife, made an appearance to display and talk about her artwork.
