Flood risk consultation is extended

PEOPLE can have their say on how flood risk can be reduced in Staffordshire and ensure concerns are acted on.

A consultation into flood risk management has been extended until the end of September.

Staffordshire's environment leader Gill Heath said the county council wants to know people's views and priorities so they can help shape future plans.

The county council is the lead authority for the area on flooding and is working closely with other authorities including Shropshire Council to resolve residents' concerns quickly in the most efficient manner.
