A TEENAGER threw herself from a plane from jaw-dropping heights to raise funds for a charity supporting her friend in her battle against cancer.
Rajvir Malhi travelled to Whitchurch, in Shropshire, for the sky dive in a bid to raise cash for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
She decided to help the charity after seeing how it has helped her friend, Eleanor Oldroyd, of Tean, who is battling sarcoma.
The two girls met a year ago when the both started at Stoke Sixth Form College and have been good friends since.
Rajvir said: "I have always wanted to do it for a charity that meant something to me and then when Eleanor got diagnosed I thought it was a brilliant charity to do it for.
"I am really excited about doing it. I thought I would be nervous but I am not, I am just excited and cannot wait."
