UTTOXETER'S Library could see a cut in opening hours as council chiefs begin a major consultation.

Staffordshire County Council is urging residents to have a say on the High Street facility as it begins a 12 week consultation to explore new suggestions for the service.

Under the proposals, early morning and evening openings at 'core libraries', such as the one in Uttoxeter, would be reduced.
