UTTOXETER school pupils have learned about how the town has changed in the last 400 years with a visit to a museum.
Year Six students at Windsor Park Middle School recently visited Redfearn's Cottage Museum of Uttoxeter Life.
Laura Wigg-Bailey, curator of the museum, said: "We are thrilled when Windsor Park visited to learn about the history of our little market town.
"The school has visited every year since we opened in 2010 and the children are always a delight.
"They throw themselves into all the activities and are respectful and interested in the displays and features on show."
Students 'enthusiastically' took part in activities including making traders sign using trade directories, Victorian washing making pomanders.
Head of history at Windsor Park Kate Yorke said: "The pupils have thoroughly enjoyed the visit and learnt a great deal about their local history.
"There were new activities from last year's visit, making Redfern's Cottage Museum of Uttoxeter Life a truly ever-changing learning experience."
