Success brings an extra day for new nursery

A NEW Uttoxeter toddler group has enjoyed great success in its first week and is now extending by an extra day.

The group run by Uttoxeter National Childbirth Trust (NCT) already meet on Mondays in Bramshall but will now also meet on Fridays from 9.30am to 11.30am at Marchington Village Hall for those who cannot make the Monday meetings or find Marchington a more convenient location.

The group is open to anyone and for further information call Kay on 07780 677134 or just turn up on the day.

The NCT is also preparing for its nearly new sale on Saturday, May 10. There are now more than 70 sellers registered and with a limit of 100, places are going fast.

The NCT will sell any items sent in from cots, pushchairs to toys and clothes. Anyone wishing to send in items will need to register with the NCT who will then send some labels to be attached to the items.

Items should be dropped off on Friday before the sale or on the day at Oldfields Hall Middle School, the NCT will then display items in a customer friendly format with all goods in groups.

Once the sale is over the NCT will send a cheque in the post. Alternatively people can also donate items to the NCT to be sold.
