RSPCA warns against handling of baby birds

AN ANIMAL rights charity is asking the public to monitor fledglings but to think twice before handling them.

During the heatwave many well-meaning members of the public have seen fledgling birds outside their nest.

The RSPCA is warning animal lovers that, depending on the age of the bird, human interference could be causing more harm than good.
