TWO directors of Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent Partnership NHS Trust have announced they will be leaving the organisation.

Director of nursing and quality Siobhan Heafield is leaving the Trust to take up a senior role with the NHS Trust Development Authority (TDA) and medical director Dr Doug Wulff is to take retirement.

Siobhan Heafield will be responsible for professional leadership across the Midlands and work with the TDA director of nursing at a national level to support nurse directors and the drive for quality improvement across NHS Trusts.

She has more than 30 years experience as a registered nurse, having begun her career as a student nurse at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham and has held a number of managerial posts within West and East Midlands prior to joining the Partnership Trust when it was established in September 2011.

Stuart Poynor, partnership trust chief executive, said: "Siobhan has been a dedicated member of the Trust Board.

"We have particularly benefited from the work she has done to provide assurance to the Trust Board on clinical quality and patient safety issues."
