CHARLIE Thacker had a good day out in the super saloons at Trent Raceway.

She came out on top, winning her first heat easily. The second heat saw the youngster come in second place and in the final, she drove superbly to win in convincing style.

Next out on the track was the novice A class with Katie Thacker, Lexie Genders and Josh Wells. The first heat was a disaster for all three, with nobody scoring. The second was a better race with Wells finishing fourth and Thacker in sixth. In the final, Thacker was lying third only to overturn late on, giving the place to Wells.

In the B class, Jacob White, Sam Barker and Livi Wells all failed to gain any points.

In the front wheel drive class, Luke Durose finished second and third in the heats, then second in the final.

Next out was rear wheel drive, with Lance Wells and Rob Walker competing. Both won a heat, as Walker went on to win the final and Wells was third.

Superstox saw Sarah Hoskins and John White racing. Both made the final, where Hoskins won and White was third..

The next meeting is on the August 17, with a noon start.
