YOUNG, unemployed people who want to take their first steps towards a successful career are being urged to apply for a place on a new project.
Safer Communities CIC in partnership with Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service has teamed up with The Prince's Trust to launch the charity's Team Programme.
The three-month course is aimed at 16 to 25-year-olds who are not in education, employment or training.
It aims to give them the skills and confidence they need to get into work or training.
There are 15 places available on the full-time programme, which will start on October 13.
