A MAN has admitted stealing items belonging to a Uttoxeter charity shop.

Raymond Bould, 44, of Stone Road, Uttoxeter, admitted stealing two LG televisions, a Pubwatch Radio, a jewellery box and costume jewellery, ceramics, watches, commemorative coin, spoons and a cigarette lighter belonging to The Heart Foundation charity shop, between January 1 and 17. Burton magistrates gave him a 12-month conditional discharge with £85 court costs and a £15 victim surcharge.

A charge of handling stolen goods – cordless phones, a PubWatch radio, two LG televisions and a dartboard, belonging to Ashley Guntripp and Malcolm Barratt, on January 16, was dismissed as no evidence was offered.
